DONATIONS INFORMATION
We are able to receive payment via 4 methods of payment, namely:
- Paypal
- Credit card
- EFT
- Cheque
Please note we are grateful to receive any amount of sponsorship from Donors in support of our work. Should you wish to provide a Tutudesk(s) to a child beneficiary, then please note that the full cost for the provision of a single Tutudesk is US$20.00, or in multiples of this amount should you wish to provide additional Tutudesks to beneficiary children.
The US$20.00 sponsorship for each Tutudesk provides for the comprehensive, end-to-end programme, including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and implementation of the Tutudesk with beneficiary children and includes all cross-border Duties and Taxes (Customs and Excise) as applicable, as well as monitoring and reporting functions for a period of up to 9 months post the implementation of the Tutudesk with beneficiary children. Additionally, an amount of US$2.40 is retained from each full Tutudesk donation for the support and further development of our operational and ongoing fundraising efforts and programmes.
Every $20 provides a child with a desk. Please decide how many desks you would like to donate and multiply that by $20 and donate that amount.
1 desk = $20
2 desks = $40
3 desks = $60
5 desks = $100
10 desks = $200
50 desks = $1000

Important information for US-based Tutudesk Campaign donors
The Desmond Tutu Tutudesk Campaign Centre is proud to work with the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives www.fdfi.org, in a fiscal sponsorship arrangement for US-originated Tutudesk donations.
This legal structure between the organisations enables Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives to receive and process US-based donations on behalf of The Desmond Tutu Tutudesk Campaign Centre Head Office in South Africa – whilst at the same time ensuring that our US-based supporters are able to receive the appropriate administrative recognition (including 501(c) 3 tax deductibility) from a highly credible, US-based charitable organisation.
Once we have received your donation we will then send you a formal correspondence acknowledging receipt of your donation and which includes FDFI’s Federal Tax Identity Number, which then in turn serves as the donation receipt for your tax-exempt purposes.
